Saturday night will be LeBron James’ 50th regular-season game against the Sixers. Not surprisingly, he’s had the upper hand most of the time. Let’s look at some of the numbers.

LeBron’s most points in a game against the Sixers. In his final season with Cleveland, King James put up a 44-point triple-double, adding 11 rebounds and 11 assists. But LeBron also had eight turnovers and took the loss. His protégé, Ben Simmons, had 27 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the Sixers to a 132-130 victory at the Wells Fargo Center. That was the 13th of 16 consecutive wins to end the 2017-18 regular season for the Sixers.

LeBron’s regular season win total against the Sixers, the most wins by any player against them since he debuted in 2003. Dwyane Wade (34), Dwight Howard (32) and Vince Carter (31) are the only other players with 30 wins over the Sixers in that span. LeBron is 37-12 in his career against the Sixers, a .755 winning percentage. He’s only faced the Sixers once in the playoffs. His Miami Heat beat the “Show Ya Luv” Sixers 4-1 back in the 2011 Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Triple-doubles against the Sixers, the fifth-most by any player. Oscar Robertson had 21 triple-doubles against the Sixers, followed by Jason Kidd (7), Russell Westbrook (7) and Magic Johnson (6). Westbrook’s total is particularly impressive, considering he’s only faced the Sixers 21 times.
