Sixers' Matisse Thybulle, NBA players showcase at-home basketball drills

Share

Looking for some basketball drills that either you or your kids can have fun doing at home, led by some of your favorite NBA players? Sixers rookie Matisse Thybulle is the latest to show off his handles as part of the Jr. NBA at Home initiative, but he’s far from the only one.

Heat forward Duncan Robinson, Hornets guard Devonte’ Graham, Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr, and Cavs forward Larry Nance Jr. are some of the other NBA players who have gotten in on the action.

From shooting form to dribbling drills and balance technique, there are a lot of ways you can still work on your game despite being at home.

All you need is a basketball and a small space, and you’re ready to work. We’ve compiled some of the drills below.

Side-to-side and between-the-legs dribble (Thybulle)

Quick feet drill (Graham)

Shooting form (from the couch) (Robinson)

Two-ball dribble drill (Jackson)

Lunge technique (Nance)

Even Mavs head Coach Rick Carlisle is getting in on the action, teaching the "Balance — Balance — Shoot" drill.

We all know the importance of staying at home and social distancing during these times to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, and it’s also important to stay active! For more drills, you can head over to Jr. NBA at Home.
