Sixers fans, want to know what you’re getting in Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott? Who better than to ask those that have covered all of them during their time in Los Angeles?

I caught up with Andrew Greif (Clippers beat writer, L.A. Times), Eric Pincus (NBA Capologist, Basketball Insiders, NBA TV), Jaime Maggio (Clippers Sideline Reporter, FSW) and Jovan Buha (Clippers beat writer, The Athletic) to learn more about them.

Who are the Sixers getting in Tobias Harris?

Greif: One of the league's best ball handlers in pick-and-rolls and best shooting big men, career bests in three-point percentage, rebounds and assists — someone who is playing his best basketball. Fits really well in lineups because he can go in between the three and the four really easily.

Pincus: A gift for scoring, not an elite defender but a good defender, a really nice guy, low maintenance, and not a problem in terms of his personality. A hard-working young man who just wants to play basketball.

Maggio: I feel like Tobias is tapping into his superpowers. This year was his coming out party. Not necessarily a guy that’s going to take over the game, like a Lou Williams and will them to win, but he’s been pretty consistent in shooting and I think Doc Rivers was looking at him as a leader; not the vocal, rah-rah guy, but leading by example, and he’s one of the hardest-working players.

Buha: “The Machine,” as Rivers and the LAC coaching staff calls him, a humble and hard-working player who processes information and scouting reports at a high level. He is having a career year, enjoying a borderline 50-40-90 season, and was on the short list of West All-Star snubs. Should fit in perfectly as the No. 3 or 4 option.

Who are the Sixers getting in Boban Marjanovic?

Greif: A player who is almost preposterously deceptive as a scorer in short bursts, but with the Clippers was limited in his playing time often because of his lateral quickness, and largely that is because coaches feared perhaps how he would hold up for long stretches, guarding stretchier five-men — they didn't like that matchup.

Pincus: Amazing to watch. Biggest player in the league right now. His ability to score is unbelievable. He’s just so tall that he makes regular seven-footers look small. Not a big rebounder. He can block some shots, but really you put him on the floor and you ask him to score, and in L.A. he was an absolute fan favorite. I know that in L.A., losing Tobias is hard, but in a sense losing Boban may be even harder.

Maggio: Just his size is an intimidation factor. This season he famously dunked without lifting his feet off the ground. No matter where he goes in the NBA, he’s beloved by teammates, coaches and the fan base. Playful and young at heart. Good-natured and respectful and caring, and truly a joy to be around.

Buha: NBA Twitter’s cult hero and one of the nicest and most positive players you’ll ever encounter in a locker room. He’s a true entertainer and showman. His size makes him a force inside the paint and around the rim. Everyone loves him.

Who are the Sixers getting in Mike Scott?

Greif: Gone through some shooting struggles this season, but has rebounded in the past two weeks to play exceptionally well off the bench and is probably playing the best basketball of the season right now. Sometimes he can play even a small-ball five, up to three. Shoots the ball well and can give you a big body on defense.

Pincus: Essentially a bench scorer at the forward position. Someone that can really stretch things out, and for a big center like Joel Embiid, where you want to balance him with someone at the PF spot that can shoot the three-ball. Definitely someone that can help Philadelphia this season.

Maggio: Doc had said this year that all the guys on the Clippers' roster are guys you would chose in a pickup game. Not necessarily any big stars, but they all work hard and have fight in them. Mike fits that. He takes advantages of his opportunities, and all of a sudden Mike can get hot and get it going from deep.

Buha: Knockdown spot-up shooter who provides floor spacing and toughness. He wears a different customized No. 30 NHL jersey to each game despite admitting he’s not a hockey fan (and with some hilarious names on the back).
