WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Jordon Talley had a season-high 24 points with six assists, Devontae Cacok notched his 10th double-double of the season and UNC Wilmington rolled to a 107-87 victory over Drexel on Tuesday night.
Cacok finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds for the Seahawks (4-10, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association), while Jaylen Fornes added a career-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Jeffrey Gary scored 11 and Marcus Bryan chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds for UNC Wilmington, which won the battle of the boards 43-24.
Kurk Lee led the Dragons (6-9, 0-2) with 22 points, while Troy Harper scored 21.
Drexel led 4-0 early, but Talley's 3-pointer sparked a 12-2 run and the Seahawks never trailed again. UNC Wilmington led 57-40 by intermission and quickly pushed its lead to 20 on Fornes' 3-pointer early in the second half. The Seahawks shot 59 percent from the floor.
Troy Harper had 22 points and Drexel overcame an early 18-point deficit to defeat James Madison 73-68 on Saturday.
Stuckey Mosley, who led James Madison with 25 points and seven rebounds, scored 11 points as the Dukes opened a 22-4 lead nearly eight minutes into the game. Nearly as sudden, Drexel stormed back to lead 33-31 at halftime as Harper scored 11 points and Trevor John six in the 29-9 outburst.
Drexel led throughout the second half and by as many as 12 points, 65-53, inside of four minutes to go.
John had 15 points and six rebounds for Drexel (10-11, 4-4 Colonial Athletic Conference). Camren Wynter added 14 points and James Butler had 9 points with 16 rebounds.
Matt Lewis added 21 points for the Dukes (9-11, 2-5).
There were only 11 bench points -- six by James Madison and five by Drexel.

Ty Gadsden and Jeantal Cylla scored 20 points apiece, Jay Estime' added 11 and Kai Toews dished 13 assists for the Seahawks (8-7, 3-1 Northeast Conference), who scored 24 points off of 11 turnovers and made 11 of 25 3-pointers.
Gadsden's 4-point play put the Seahawks up for good 53-51 and UNCW pulled ahead by 14, 76-62, after a 15-4 run. Drexel cut it to eight on Troy Harper's layup with 1:03 left, but the Seahawks outscored them 8-2 from there.
Kurk Lee scored 19 points with five 3s for the Dragons (8-11, 2-4). James Butler scored a career-high 17 and grabbed 10 rebounds and Harper also scored 17. Camren Winter made eight assists.
