Bud Light is making booing Roger Goodell possible during virtual NFL Draft

A bit of good news today thanks to the folks at Bud Light: the beer is doing their part to keep the tradition of booing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during the draft alive.

With the draft going virtual, many feared that the lack of fans booing both Goodell and various selections would be lost. Enter a savvy sponsor like Bud Light and some at-home video recordings of fan booing and you've got something of a solution.

Granted, nothing can truly replace the live and in-person booing from a throng of fans like those of us here in Philadelphia, but at least there will still be some booing.

"The NFL Draft will be without an important tradition. And we just can't let that stand. Record your boos then post & tag @budlight and #BooTheCommish. We’ll deliver the boos to the Draft, and for each #BootheCommish thru April 25, we’ll donate $1 to NFL Draft-a-Thon up to $500K," their tweet said.

Their teaser video also contains the moment from the 2017 draft in Philly where Goodell was egging fans on to boo him even further.

This isn't the first time Bud Light has stepped up in a big way in terms of taking care of fan needs. Philly will never forget the time they helped deliver on Lane Johnson's promise of free beer after winning Super Bowl 52 or the wonderful Doug Pederson and Nick Foles "Philly Philly" statue they helped erect outside of the Linc.

So, maybe enjoy a Bud Light this weekend and boo your TV when you see Mr. Goodell appear, it will feel good.
