3 things to know as the Eagles face the Cardinals in Week 15

The Eagles pulled off an upset last week to keep their slim playoff hopes alive but they’ll have another tough test this week.

The Eagles (4-8-1) are underdogs again as they face the Cardinals (7-6) in Arizona on Sunday.

Here are some important links:

And here are three things to know:

1. After an impressive first start, Jalen Hurts will get his second start on Sunday in Arizona, facing a very different defense. Even for a 3-4, the Cardinals give plenty of exotic looks, so it’s safe to say film study this week was a treat for the Eagles.

On top of the unusual Cardinals’ defense, they also have a full game of tape to see how the Eagles ran their offense with Hurts as their quarterback. So this will be a big test not only for Hurts but also for the Eagles’ offensive coaching staff.

2. Temple product Haason Reddick had a career game last week for the Cardinals, stacking up five sacks against the Giants in the 26-7 win. And this week, he’ll be going against an Eagles offensive line using its 13th different combination in 14 games.

Keep an eye on Matt Pryor at right tackle. Pryor has really struggled this season and wasn’t very good at right tackle when he was forced into action there earlier this season.

LG: Isaac Seumalo

C: Jason Kelce

RG: Nate Herbig

RT: Matt Pryor

3. The Eagles are 6.5-point road underdogs against the Cardinals, according to PointsBet. This is the seventh time this season they’ve been at least 6.5-point underdogs, which is pretty wild.

How did the Eagles fare in the previous six games? Well, they’re 2-4 but they’re 4-2 against the spread in those games.
