Is this Brandon Graham's final hurrah with the Eagles?

Share

Brandon Graham is in his ninth NFL season and perhaps his final with the Eagles.

If that is the case, he has some lofty goals for himself and his teammates in 2018.

Graham set a career-high with 9.5 sacks last season and came up with one of the biggest plays in Eagles franchise history during Super Bowl LII.

To find out what else he's thinking, tune into Eagles Pregame Live on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on NBC Sports Philadelphia before the Birds look for a 2-0 start in Tampa.

Not to say you're getting old, but what does it mean to be the longest-tenured Eagle?

"It means a lot, man. I mean, I'm just trying to make sure I hold on and keep getting better every year. Hopefully, I'll be here a little longer because I really enjoy it here. I feel like I offer a whole lot as far as leadership on the field. My goal coming into the league was 15 years."

Is this the year Brandon Graham finally gets the Pro Bowl nod?

"For me, I believe so because the way I feel right now, the way we're playing defense, we got a bunch of good guys on this team and a bunch of guys who want to help each other. So as long as we keep that spirit, the sky is the limit for us."

Do you allow yourself to think about this possibly being your final year as an Eagle?

"Every now and then. Like the other day, I was thinking I gotta enjoy this because you never know what the future holds. I put in the work one day at a time, continue to keep having fun and good stuff seems to happen. I think, for me, if this is my last year here, I know I'm always going to be back here because we are here for life. We did something special here and I'm hoping the fans embrace me. Whatever happens, I'm hoping to retire an Eagle."

There is a lot of football still to be played between now and the end of the season, but if this is your last year here, how would you want to go out?

"Another ring. Make my first All-Pro team. Overall, I just want to be the best teammate that I can be and help us get to where we're trying to go and help others get to where they're trying to go. If we're winning, everybody wins."
