article_body => "Each week during the season, we\u2019re going through the Eagles\u2019 media guide to find an interesting nugget. <\/p>\nThis week, as the Eagles fly to North Texas, I thought it would be fitting to catch up with Carson Wentz about what he named his favorite TV show: Friday Night Lights. <\/p>\nTexas forever. <\/p>\nMe: <\/strong>You were kind of in high school when the show was out, so how big was that show for you? <\/p>\nWentz:<\/strong> I remember almost binge-watching it when I was in high school on my laptop. It\u2019s just a great show. I think it just depicts high school living, in general, relationships and then the football part was obviously kind of one of the first shows to show semi-real football. <\/p>\nMe<\/strong>: That\u2019s true. <\/p>\nCW:<\/strong> Like, Varsity Blues, that ain\u2019t even in the right category of football. So, I don\u2019t know, it was kind of cool. <\/p>\nMe: <\/strong>Who was your favorite character on the show? Were you like a (Tim) Riggins or a (Matt) Saracen guy? <\/p>\nCW: <\/strong>I don\u2019t know. Definitely Riggins \u2026 he was the cool guy on the show. You always wanted to cheer for him even though he did dumb things all the time. Saracen just because he was a quarterback, even though he wasn\u2019t the most talented, you always had to cheer for that guy. <\/p>\nMe: <\/strong>Did you ever find yourself wishing your games were a huge deal like that? <\/p>\nCW:<\/strong> Wishing my games were like that? <\/p>\nMe:<\/strong> Yeah, because they treat those games like \u2026 <\/p>\nCW:<\/strong> I\u2019ve never been to a Texas high school game. I\u2019ve heard they\u2019re similar to how they\u2019re portrayed on that. <\/p>\nMe:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been to a couple and they\u2019re pretty cool. <\/p>\nCW:<\/strong> That would be pretty sweet. Ours weren\u2019t quite like that. But we had a good crowd and good energy in our own way. Just not quite like that. <\/p>\nMe:<\/strong> The one thing I always hear about Friday Night Lights, at the end, it kind of jumped the shark a little bit. <\/p>\nCW:<\/strong> I don\u2019t remember that. <\/p>\nMe:<\/strong> Like, Michael B. Jordan. Remember they had him? And (Coach Eric Taylor) went to, like, East Dillon? At the end, it got a little \u2026 <\/p>\nCW: <\/strong>Yeah, there were some drastic changes at the end. That\u2019s probably why I don\u2019t remember it. But the early seasons, the first couple, they were real good. <\/p>\nMe:<\/strong> Yeah, they were good. Thanks, man. Each week during the season, we’re going through the Eagles’ media guide to find an interesting nugget.

This week, as the Eagles fly to North Texas, I thought it would be fitting to catch up with Carson Wentz about what he named his favorite TV show: Friday Night Lights.

Me: You were kind of in high school when the show was out, so how big was that show for you?
