Actor Michael Blackson talks comedy career, Philly sports, more

On the second episode of the brand new Takeoff with John Clark podcast, Clark sits down with actor and comedian Michael Blackson to talk about Blackson's career as an actor and comedian, and his love for Philadelphia's sports teams.

Blackson, 48, was born in Ghana but moved to Philadelphia in the late 80s. He cut his teeth in the Philadelphia comedy scene while delivering pizzas and eventually caught on in the entertainment biz.

Blackson made his big screen debut in 2000's "Next Friday", and most recently landed a part in the new "Coming 2 America" starring Eddie Murphy.

But his time in Hollywood couldn't erase his rabid Philly sports fandom, which he still regularly flexes on social media.

Just look at this reaction to the Eagles' Super Bowl win (which Blackson attended!) back in 2018:

Yep, that's a Philly sports fan.
