Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was sucker punched at a South Dakota restaurant on Friday night and was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, a source confirmed to NBC Sports Philadelphia.
While details are sparse, Goedert is fine, according to the source.

The man who allegedly threw the punch was arrested, according to a source.
Goedert played college football at South Dakota State and grew up in the state.
Goedert, 25, is entering his third NFL season in 2020. The 2018 second-round pick figures to be an important part of the Eagles’ offense this season.
