This DeSean Jackson in-game prediction vs. Dallas is wild

Before everything fell apart and the Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention in embarrassing fashion, the Birds were up 14-3 against their most hated rivals and life was pure bliss.

A big part of that lead was a sick, throwback 81-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to DeSean Jackson.

And a clip in the NFL's Week 16 mic'd up roundup shows that, in addition to still having top gear speed, Jackson can also apparently predict the future.

After the Eagles scored on their first possession of the game, the offense was chatting on the sidelines about what was working.

The 11-play, 75-yard drive had gone off without a hitch, but it was largely on the ground: Hurts had just two pass attempts for eight yards, and Jackson wanted to make sure Hurts knew the receivers were getting open, too.

Here's what he told Hurts:

"Everybody was open. We're always open. I was up top, though."

The very next offensive snap for the Eagles? Jackson was open, up top, for an 81-yard touchdown.

That's pretty good.

You can watch the exchange here, at the 21:20 mark:

That proved to be Jackson's only catch of the game, and the last time it felt like the Eagles were in control of a game they should've won.

Fans will probably remember the game as a perfect distillation of everything that went wrong this year for the Eagles, but I'll remember this sick play - and now I'll know Jackson called his own number, which makes it even cooler.
