Eagles fans are notorious for their ability to turn an opponent's city and stadium into a home game for the Birds, needing very little incentive other than watching their favorite team play football.
But when that opponent's city is as enticing as Las Vegas? Hoo boy, you'd better batten down the hatches.
And it seems Eagles fans, getting their first-ever shot at travelling to an Eagles game taking place in Sin City, are more than here for the opportunity.
NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark shared a video Friday of an Eagles fan-packed flight to Vegas, complete with green rally towels and a general sense of giddiness heading into the weekend:
Yep, that's a strong contingent of Birds fans headed West to turn the Las Vegas Strip into a relocated South Philly.
It's particularly strong for a 2-4 team with no real direction; imagine if the Eagles were good this year.
And tweets from other Vegas-bound fliers confirm this isn't just an isolated instance: the fans are coming.
If you're inspired by these fans and thinking about a last-second trip to Vegas for the game, there are tickets available for $150 each on Ticketmaster... but a round-trip flight on Saturday that returns after the game Sunday night is probably going to set you back around a grand. Good luck.
The Eagles and Raiders kick off at 4:05 on Sunday. Should be a good, and loud, game.
