Eagles inactives: All 3 young defensive tackles are active

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — There wasn’t much mystery about the Eagles’ inactive players coming into Sunday’s game against the Bills.

On Friday, the Eagles ruled out six players, so they had just one to go. And they also have one player who hasn’t dressed all season.

It was easy:

Nigel Bradham (ankle)
DeSean Jackson (abdomen)
Timmy Jernigan (foot)
Avonte Maddox (concussion, neck)
Jason Peters (knee)
Darren Sproles (quadricep)
Nate Herbig

Herbig, the rookie OL, has now been inactive for all eight games this season.

The trio of Bruce Hector, Anthony Rush and Albert Huggins are active. Those are the three players who will be lining up next to Fletcher Cox on Sunday afternoon. Hector, who was called up from the practice squad on Friday, has played eight career NFL games, but Rush and Huggins have never played before. That’s something to watch in this game.

While Rush is wearing the No. 66 that Akeem Spence left when he was cut on Monday, Huggins is wearing No. 76. He’s the first player to wear 76 in-season since Allen Barbre in 2016.
