DENVER — The Eagles will have Josh Sweat for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.
Sweat, 24, suffered a concussion last week against the Chargers and had been in the NFL’s concussion protocol all week. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice and has since been cleared by an independent neurologist.
Sweat and Andre Dillard (knee) came into the weekend listed as questionable. Dillard suffered a knee injury during Friday’s practice. But both are active and dressed for this inter-conference matchup.
Here are the Eagles’ inactives for Sunday:
- QB Reid Sinnett
- C/G Jack AndersonÂ
- CB Kary Vincent Jr.
- CB Tay Gowan
- DT Marlon Tuipilotu
Jordan Howard, who was signed to the 53-man roster earlier this week, is active today. He is active along with Boston Scott and Kenny Gainwell. Next week, Miles Sanders will be eligible to return from IR so there will presumably be fewer carries to go around.
Cornerback Josiah Scott is active this week after being inactive last week. Tuipulotu is down. Â
