Sidney Jones (hamstring) is active for Sunday’s game against the Jets.
As rough as this season has been for Jones, that’s still good news. Because without Jones, the Eagles wouldn’t have very good options. Jones had his right hamstring heavily wrapped during pregame warmups.

Last week in Green Bay, Jones played just 10 snaps before he left the game with yet another hamstring injury. After being a limited participant in practice all week, Jones was listed as questionable coming into the weekend.
He was the only Eagles player listed as questionable.
Here’s the full list of Eagles’ inactives for today’s game:
DeSean Jackson (abdomen)
Tim Jernigan (foot)
Ronald Darby (hamstring)
Avonte Maddox (concussion, neck)
Nate Herbig
Shareef Miller
Nate Sudfeld
The top four on that list were ruled out on Friday. Head coach Doug Pederson said the injury isn’t any more severe than they first thought, but that they want to be careful because of the injury and the type of player Jackson is — a runner.
Cornerback Ryan Lewis, who was added to the practice squad at the beginning of the week and promoted to the active roster on Friday is active. The Eagles have five cornerbacks active today. Lewis and last week’s hero, Craig James, are the backups this week.
Sudfeld was also inactive last week. Josh McCown is this team’s backup quarterback.
