Anthony Harris returns to practice with both hands wrapped

Eagles safety Anthony Harris returned to practice on Thursday with both hands wrapped.

Harris missed Wednesday’s session and is listed on the injury report with injuries to both of his hands. Harris left last Thursday’s game but was able to return.

We’ll see on Friday how he came out of his first practice. But he was a full participant on Thursday.

If Harris can’t play on Sunday or is limited, the Eagles are short on options. Marcus Epps is the top backup safety right now. K’Von Wallace is nearing a return but hasn’t yet been activated to the roster from IR.

In addition to Harris, here are a few other Eagles injury notes:

• Lane Johnson was back on the practice field for the second straight day after missing three games as he dealt with mental health issues. Johnson was limited on Wednesday. On Thursday, he took snaps at his usual right tackle spot during the individual portion of practice. He was a full participant.

• Dallas Goedert is off the Reserve/COVID-19 list and was at practice Thursday. He didn’t technically participate but he was out there. During special teams drills and individual drills, Goedert worked with a trainer on side fields. He had been out since being placed on the COVID last last Tuesday. This is likely a ramp-up period.

Wallace (shoulder) and Tyree Jackson (back) were practicing for the second straight day after the team activated their 21-day practice windows on Wednesday. They aren’t on the active roster so they won’t be on the injury report this week. But there’s a chance one or both could be activated before Sunday’s game in Las Vegas.

• The four players who were limited on Wednesday were all back on the field Thursday: Lane Johnson (rest), Jason Kelce (foot/rest), Derek Barnett (foot), Rick Lovato (hamstring). All but Lovato were full participants.
