Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert got hurt during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Bengals with an ankle injury.

He is officially questionable to return.

Goedert limped off the field and then got checked out on the trainers table before going into the locker room.

Before leaving the game, Goedert had one catch for seven yards.

If Goedert can’t return, the Eagles have Zach Ertz and Richard Rodgers as their other active tight ends. Losing Goedert will force the Eagles out of 12 personnel and into 11 personnel more. That’s a big departure for them.

Coming into this game, the Eagles have been in 12 personnel (two tight ends) more than any other team in the league at 74 percent. The next closest team is Arizona at 33 percent.

The Eagles opened in 11 personnel on Sunday with DeSean Jackson, John Hightower and Greg Ward as their three receivers. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Deontay Burnett are also available.
