Like the rest of his Eagles teammates, Lane Johnson showed up to the NovaCare Complex in South Philly on Tuesday morning ready to get to work ahead of the 2021 NFL season.
But Johnson, ever the showman and always on brand, put a little extra flair into his arrival outfit that Eagles fans have to absolutely love.
Johnson rolled up to the Complex on Tuesday morning sporting a black No. 64 Jeff Stoutland Eagles shirsey, an understated but fantastic tribute to the offensive line coach who returned to the Birds after listening to overtures from Nick Saban and Alabama during the offseason and nearly heading to Tuscaloosa:

The cutoff jean shorts are a nice touch, too. A real Texas-by-way-of-Oklahoma touch.
That's an awesome move from Johnson, both in terms of subtle fashion and in sending a message about Stoutland's importance to the organization.
Stoutland has spent nearly a decade with the Eagles since joining the organization in 2013 during Chip Kelly's first year as head coach. He's developed young talent like Isaac Seumalo, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, and Jordna Mailata into starter-level guys, he's been in charge of some of the best O-lines in the NFL, and he's helped Johnson himself reach the Pro Bowl-level heights he's reached. The dude is an O-line guru.

Also, whoever made the shirt nailed the number choice - Stoutland wore No. 64 at Southern Connecticut State.
I feel like if the Eagles started selling Stoutland shirseys they might rake in way more money than expected; the guy is starting to reach folk hero status around Eagles diehards.
