Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean ring bell for Sixers

Friday night was a big night for the Sixers. Not only did superstar (and MVP candidate) big man Joel Embiid return to the lineup, but the Sixers also had three other big men help set the mood for Game 3 of their series against the Heat.

Emphasis on big.

Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, three of the Eagles' newest stars, took the court to ring the bell before the crucial showdown, and they got quite an ovation from the fans at Wells Fargo Center.

Georgia Bulldog products Davis and Dean were both selected by the Eagles in last week's NFL Draft. The Eagles drafted Davis, a 6-foot-6, 340-pound behemoth, in the first round with the No. 13 overall pick. Dean, despite widely being considered a first-round talent, had to wait until the third round for the Eagles to call his name. Friday was their first day of rookie minicamp.

Reddick, a native of Camden, New Jersey and former Temple star, signed with the Eagles as a free agent in March. The 27-year-old has logged 23.5 sacks over the last two seasons as a member of the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers, respectively.

Reddick is clearly no stranger to Philly, and it appears he's taking Davis and Dean under his wing to support the other local Philly squads.

You just love to see it.
