Eagles news: Eagles provide good injury news about Alshon Jeffery

It looks like the Eagles will have Alshon Jeffery on Thursday night in Green Bay.

While Jeffery wouldn’t commit to playing this week — he said “we’ll see” — the Eagles listed him as a full participant in Tuesday’s practice report.

Tuesday’s report was an estimation because the Eagles held a walkthrough:

Did not participate: Ronald Darby (hamstring), DeSean Jackson (abdomen), Tim Jernigan (foot)

Limited: Derek Barnett (ankle), Corey Clement (shoulder)

Full: Alshon Jeffery (calf), Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee), Dallas Goedert (calf), JJ Arcega-Whiteside (heel), Andre Dillard (knee), Nathan Gerry (calf, knee), Nate Sudfeld (left wrist)

When asked if he feels added pressure to play in this game because of its importance, Jeffery said, “Nah, I don’t feel no pressure. It’s a marathon.”

Jeffery missed Sunday’s game with a calf injury. On Tuesday, Jeffery had just gotten done a workout and spoke between heavy breaths. He said he felt “good,” but didn’t want to talk about how the injury happened. In order to play Thursday, Jeffery said he just needs to listen to the training staff, get treatment and take care of his body.

“I’m gonna be honest with [the trainers],” Jeffery said. “I’m human, at the end of the day. You gotta listen to your body.”

A few other injury notes:

• While it looks like Jeffery is likely to return this week, don’t expect to see DeSean Jackson (abdomen), who did not participate at all Tuesday.

• Grugier-Hill will make his season debut after spraining his MCL during training camp. He will probably have a reduced role.

• Arcega-Whiteside said he didn’t realize he hurt his heel in Sunday’s game until after it was over. He missed practice Monday, but returned Tuesday and said he’s fine.

• Darby will be out “for a while” according to defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. For now, that leaves the Eagles with three healthy cornerbacks.
