With free agency and the draft in the rear-view mirror, the 2018 NFL regular season is next in sight.

And after a 2017 season that saw the Eagles win 13 games, claim the top seed in the NFC and capture their first Super Bowl title, Vegas oddsmakers aren't ready to unseat the Birds as the NFC's top dog.

The Westgate SportsBook on Sunday released its over-under win totals for next season and had the Eagles at 10.5, the highest mark in the NFC. The Patriots, who if you recall the Eagles beat in the Super Bowl, were given the highest projected win total at 11. The Birds and the Steelers were tied for the second-highest opening win total.

Right on the Eagles' heels in the NFC were the Vikings and the Packers, both at 10. No other team in the league had a double-digit win total.

Rounding out the rest of the projected playoff contenders in the NFC were the Saints (9.5), Rams (9.5), Falcons (9), Panthers (9) and 49ers (9). The Cowboys were slotted at 8.5.

The Patriots, who lost to the Eagles in the Super Bowl, are 6-1 favorites to win Super Bowl LIII. Similar to the win totals, the Eagles and Steelers are right behind at 8-1. The Rams have the second-shortest odds of any NFC team to win it all at 10-1.
