This Jalen Reagor-DeSean Jackson punt return for TD mashup is wild

The initial sting of the Eagles selecting speedy wide receiver Jalen Reagor at No. 21 on Thursday night is beginning to wear off. In fact, Philadelphia fans are using Reagor's YouTube highlights like a balm.

And if there's one thing that Eagles fans really love, it's DeSean Jackson making big plays. And speed. Everybody loves speed.

So when Eagles fans saw this mashup of DeSean's famous Miracle at the Meadowlands punt return for a TD against the Giants with one of Reagor's punt returns for a touchdown against Kansas, their Friday started to look a bit more sunny.

Just look at these mashups.

You can watch the full Reagor return right here. It's a beaut:

DeSean hosted an Instagram live video with Shady McCoy just about an hour before the draft went live and spilled the beans that he was told the Eagles may go with a speedster to pair alongside Jackson as another deep threat. And then Howie Roseman went out and made it happen.

Roseman pointed out that Carson Wentz loves to throw a deep ball so Reagor will fit right in.

“Jalen fit something that we were really looking for -- he’s an explosive guy, he has an ability to contribute as a receiver and a returner, be explosive with the ball in his hands. Those were all things we were looking for,” Roseman told reporters on a conference video chat last night.

Eagles fans may have balked initially but they're definitely going to give Reagor a chance.
