Live stream: Malik Jackson Eagles' press conference at 4:30 p.m. ET Wednesday

Eagles new defensive tackle Malik Jackson will have his introductory press conference at 4:30 p.m. today in South Philadelphia.

Jackson, 29, signed a three-year deal, reportedly worth $30 million, to come join the Eagles. Jackson was released by Jacksonville, so he was allowed to sign before the start of free agency and won't count toward the compensatory pick formula.

The former fifth-round pick spent his first four seasons in Denver before signing a six-year contract with the Jaguars. Jackson lasted three years into that deal before he was cut to save cap room. Jackson has 32 1/2 sacks during his NFL career and was a Pro Bowler in 2017.

After struggling to fill the defensive tackle spot next to Fletcher Cox all last season, Jackson should be a huge upgrade. At least he has the ability to beat 1-on-1s as a pass rusher. That ability should help the Eagles' defense out a bunch in 2019.

The live stream will begin below shortly before 4:30 p.m. ET. Be sure to stick with NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com all week for every Eagles press conference during the offseason.
