Looks like Eagles might not see Dez Bryant next week after all

So much for the Eagles’ facing Dez Bryant next week at the Superdome.

His time in New Orleans might be over before it ever started.

Yikes.

According to ESPN, the injury happened on the last play of Friday’s practice.

It seemed likely that Bryant wasn’t going to play in this weekend’s game anyway but was going to make his Saints debut against the Eagles next Sunday in New Orleans.

All of that is obviously in question now.

The Saints officially listed Bryant as a limited participant in Friday’s practice.

The 30-year-old Bryant hasn’t gone over 1,000 yards in a season for a few years and he was on the streets since the Cowboys parted ways with him in the offseason. But he was still going to add a little more firepower to a New Orleans offense that already has plenty of it.

Against the Eagles, Bryant averaged 75 yards per game in 13 career contests. His nine touchdowns against the Eagles are the most he has against any team in his career.
