Jason Peters and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside returned to Eagles training camp practice Tuesday after missing Monday’s opening day of full-pads work.

Peters, the 38-year-old trying to make the transition from left tackle to right guard, missed practice Monday with what the Eagles called a lower-body injury. Arcega-Whiteside also missed practice with a lower-body injury.

Linebacker Duke Riley, who was ill, is also back at practice.

Out indefinitely are defensive linemen Derek Barnett (lower-body injury) and Javon Hargrave (pec strain). Here’s the latest on their chances of playing in the season opener in 3 1/2 weeks.

Defensive tackle Malik Jackson, wide receiver DeSean Jackson and center Jason Kelce, three of the Eagles’ eight players over 30, were sitting out practice Tuesday with planned maintenance days.

With neither Malik Jackson nor Hargrave at practice, the defensive tackles in addition to Fletcher Cox were Hassan Ridgeway, Anthony Rush and Raequan Williams.
