Eagles trade for Marquise Goodwin has fans hilariously torn about Howie Roseman

The Eagles added another wide receiver to the mix on Saturday, but not with a draft pick.

General manager Howie Roseman swapped sixth-round draft picks with the 49ers and added veteran wideout Marquise Goodwin in the process, which puts another intriguing target into the wide receiver mix for the 2020 regular season.

It's been an interesting weekend for Roseman in the eyes of Eagles fans, after his staggering Jalen Hurts pick. Goodwin, who turns 30 in November, has top-flight speed but is undersized (5-9, 180 pounds) and has dealt with injury issues throughout his career, so Eagles fans were... predictably torn on the move.

Some were in favor of the move, seeing the upside of adding a fast wideout to a receiving corps that needs more options:

Goodwin will turn 30 during the 2020 season but maybe he still has some speed left and can stay healthy. It’s worth a shot, especially for a 19-spot slide in the sixth round.

Goodwin has just 25 catches for 581 yards and 5 touchdowns over his last two seasons, and has appeared in just 20 games since 2017. If he can stay healthy, he certainly won't hurt the Eagles.

But considering the team is suddenly very wary of "injury prone" players, it's an interesting transcation.
