Steelers wide receiver subtly trolls Eagles after big game

No matter the sport, when you have a big game I think you're entitled to a celebration.

And Steelers rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool sure had a big game on Sunday afternoon.

Claypool lit the Eagles up for seven receptions, 110 yards, and four - FOUR!- touchdowns in Pittsburgh, an absoultely unbelievable performance from the second-round pick. Claypool sealed the game with less than three minutes to play, catching a touchdown up the right seam from Ben Roethlisberger to put the Steelers up by nine.

Shortly after the game was over, Claypool took to his personal Twitter account to fire off a quick, slick tweet celebrating the enormous game.

Honestly? I'll give it to him, that's pretty funny. It's a solid double entendre, playing on the motto of late-night convenience store option 7/11, combined with the jersey numbers and connection that he and Roethlisberger have established through four games.

It also trolls the Eagles for their porous coverage on Sunday, particularly on that game-sealing touchdown late in the fourth quarter, when for some inexplicable reason Eagles linebacker Nate Gerry was lined up in coverage against Claypool.

I mean, look at this catch and score:

"Always open" indeed.
