Washington's DL continues to get decimated by COVID-19

The Washington Football Team might not have a defensive line left to play on Sunday at this rate.

Washington is having some serious COVID-19 issues and there’s another player getting added to their Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.

And it’s another defensive lineman.

In total, Washington will now have 12 players on their COVID-19 list, including six in the DL room: Matt Ioannidis, Jonathan Allen, Montez Sweat, Tim Settle, Will Bradley-King, James Smith-Williams and Casey Toohill.

All that is already after Washington lost Chase Young to a torn ACL.

And now there's news that Kyle AlIen is heading to the COVID list too.

Washington has won four of their last five leading into this huge battle between 6-7 teams at the Linc on Sunday, but they’re hurting right now.

There’s a chance some of these players can return if they’re vaccinated. Vaccinated players can return from the COVID-19 list if they pass two PCR tests at least 24 hours apart and are asymptomatic for 48 hours.

The Eagles have just one player from their 53-man roster on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. They added receiver Quez Watkins and practice squad running back Jason Huntley to the list on Monday.
