What day is the NFL trade deadline?

As the Eagles move towards the NFC East-heavy part of their schedule, there is limited time remaining for general manager Howie Roseman to make significant upgrades to the roster or unload some of the squad's veterans.

Roseman is notoriously the NFL's most active general manager, never afraid to strike a deal at a moment's notice and he's been active at the trade deadline each of the last three seasons. That deadline is rapidly approaching, coming Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. EST. That date falls just two days after the Eagles' Week 8 Sunday Night Football game at home against the Dallas Cowboys.

If the Eagles were to make a move and bring a new player to Philadelphia, they'd luckily have their Week 9 bye week to get them acclimated to the team. Eagles fans are certainly clamoring for help at both wide receiver and linebacker, which can be said during every Eagles season ever essentially.

If Roseman goes into seller mode, which feels unlikely giving his M.O., I'm sure he'd love to part with aging and pricey pieces like Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Vinny Curry, maybe even simply taking the best offer that's on the table at 3:55 p.m.
