Brad Marchand sends reminder on Twitter after shootout flub in Flyers-Bruins game

Brad Marchand was clearly aware of the trolling he'd face on social media after flubbing his shootout attempt to finish off the Flyers' 6-5 win Monday night over his Bruins at the Wells Fargo Center (see story).

So Marchand, never one to shy away from some drama, decided to troll back on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.

In 2010-11, his first full NHL season, Marchand won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins. He had a big postseason with 11 goals and 19 points in 25 games.

He has become one of the NHL's premier players now in his 30s. He probably could have just reminded himself of that. But Marchand wanted to remind everyone amid the shootout laughter, deciding to post a not-so-cryptic picture with a simple message.

When a Twitter user responded, Marchand fired back.

The Flyers host the Bruins on March 10 and Philly will certainly be on its best behavior as Marchand returns to the scene of the whiff.
