The Flyers bandwagon is so hot, even Chad Ochocinco is joining the party

The Flyers are suddenly one of the best teams in the NHL, just a month before the postseason begins, and Philadelphia is jumping on the bandwagon en masse.

It's such a big movement, even non-Philly fans are joining the fun: on Thursday night, former NFL wideout and generally famous person Chad Johnson — you know, Chad Ochocinco — officially, and profanely, hopped on the hype train:

Johnson at the Wells Fargo Center in mid-April for a home Flyers playoff game would be quite a scene indeed. Imagine Gritty and Ochocinco galavanting all over the arena, causing chaos and leading chants. I need it yesterday.

Johnson could even give the Fly Guys some celebration tips:

They're scoring more goals lately than any team in the league, and are bound to run out of cellies eventually.

It seems that Johnson's Flyers "fandom" is a relatively new development.

Back in early December, he tweeted twice in three days about how much he enjoys the team's sweaters:

It makes sense that Johnson would be a big fan of the black-and-orange color palette, considering his best days in the NFL came with the Bengals.

To be fair, Ochocinco saw this blog and wanted to clarify: he's a Panthers fan, who just likes Claude Giroux:

Sounds like he and Gritty would get along!

But we've already made it clear: everyone is welcome aboard the bandwagon. So get on, Ochocinco, and let's go dancing.
