As news broke of a report that head coach Dave Hakstol has been fired, fans took to social media to express their joy.

For what it’s worth, the Flyers took a shot with Hakstol when he was hired before the 2015-16 season as a successful college coach without NHL experience. After nearly three-and-a-half seasons, results have shown the experiment failed. Flyers fans are ready for a new chapter.
