After spending a decade in Philadelphia, Jakub Voracek was back Thursday night as a visitor.
He made his return to the Wells Fargo Center for the first time since the offseason trade that sent him to the Blue Jackets.
Prior to the game, general manager Chuck Fletcher presented Voracek with a plaque for playing in his 1,000th career NHL game earlier this month. The Flyers then recognized Voracek with a video tribute during a first-period stoppage.

After the video played on the scoreboard, Voracek saluted the fans as the Flyers played Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run,” one of his favorite songs.

Voracek holds the franchise's fifth-most assists (427) and 10th-most points (604).
"I'm always going to remember Philly," Voracek said Thursday after morning skate. "It's going to hold a special place in my heart.
"It's been such a fun and good ride. When you spend a decade with your friends in one of the best sports towns in the world, it's been good."
