Flyers' rookie camp features a pair of prospect games vs. Metropolitan team

Ahead of the Flyers' main 2021 training camp, the club's prospects will play two rookie games against the Rangers' prospects.

The back-to-back matchups cap off the team's rookie camp, which is set to open Thursday at Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey.

The first rookie game will be played this Saturday (3 p.m. ET) at the Rangers' practice facility in Tarrytown, New York, followed by a second matchup Sunday (5 p.m. ET) at Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone.

The Flyers' big camp opens next Wednesday, Sept. 22, with media day at the Wells Fargo Center. The first official on-ice practice will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, in Voorhees.

Fans won't be permitted to attend rookie camp but will be welcomed back to the practice facility for main camp. Per usual, admission will be free of charge. The health and safety precautions for fans that plan to attend will be released at a later date.

The Flyers' rookies will take the ice Thursday and Friday with a pair of sessions each day in Voorhees from 10:15-11:15 a.m. ET and 11:30 a.m-noon ET.
