Philadelphia sports fans are split over whether or not they should support former Eagles coach Andy Reid in Sunday's Super Bowl LIV between the Chiefs and the Niners.
One Philadelphian experiencing no such confusion? Gritty, who made his preference clear as day at Saturday night's Flyers game against the Avalanche.
His Grittness, who has only known the Eagles to be coached by Doug Pederson in his season-plus of existence, donned a Hawaiian shirt and a mustache, grabbed a "playbook", and trotted around the Wells Fargo Center dressed as Reid. It was a sight to behold:

Gritty Reid simply tried to have a normal first period, complete with Gritty-style dancing and belly-thrusting, but a rogue referee penalized him for... too much sauce? What's the call here, ref?
I need some instant Mike Pereira analysis on that flag.
Considering all the restaurant-themed jokes that have been made about Reid's play sheet over the years, I'd love to know what's inside Gritty's version of the playbook. My guess: it's just two photos of Gritty's best friend, Claude Giroux.

Interestingly, this is Gritty's second foray of 2020 into a non-hockey sport. Back in January, as the sports world reeled from the Houston Astros cheating scandal, the scamp whipped out a trash can and mocked Houston's favorite cheating method, to everyone's delight.
Here's hoping Gritty weighs in on the NBA playoff race at some point in March, and then moves on to the Masters in April. Maybe he'll start a sports podcast. The sky's the limit for the orange one.
