Marc Farzetta tackles 'Homebound Sports' with adorable little daughter

With professional sports on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, Marc Farzetta has a few chores around the house he's trying to knock out.

He figured "Homebound Sports" was a decent way to attack them. Office basketball, paper baseball, mucking and raking — Farzetta has them all covered.

And, while he was at it, he thought his adorable little daughter could help him reenact a couple classic Philly sports moments, including Allen Iverson's iconic step over Tyronn Lue in Game 1 of the 2001 Finals.

Watch the video above for a glimpse of what "Homebound Sports" has to offer.

Outdoor games to keep your competitive edge without live sports

Outdoor games to keep your competitive edge without live sports

We’re only a few days into April, but the weather has already been a thing of beauty. Even though we have to stay home and practice social distancing as much as we possibly can, there are still ways to enjoy the sun.

It turns out, outdoor games and activities are mostly viewed as essentials right now on Amazon — which is a great way to enjoy the extra time on your hands.

Here are a few games that you can play outside to enjoy some sun (or inside, if you really wanted to) that are fun for everyone ... and the best part is — if you have Prime — you can get most of these delivered by the end of the week!

The giants

Larger versions of classic childhood games are always a treat. You can order them now, hold a household tournament and then you’ll have an awesome set of games to play the next time you host a function later down the road.

Connect 4

Jenga

Yard Pong

Checkers

The classic BBQ set

If you’ve been to a family barbecue in the past, chances are you’ve played one, if not all of these. These games can become ridiculously competitive, so it can fill the void of competition we all have without no live sports.

Cornhole

Kan Jam

Ladder Ball

Fun for the kids

While some games listen above might be too difficult for kids to play, here are some they will most definitely enjoy.

Flickin’ Chicken

Lawn bowling

Inflatable Joust Game

Flarts

Looking back, every decade went through some highs and lows but no matter what, it was always a thrilling time (minus those few pesky seasons that will forever haunt us ... I'm looking at you 1993 Phillies and 2010 Flyers).

While some years see more success than others, it always seems like the four teams find a way to balance out to keep Philly sane.

Which decade of Philadelphia sports do you resonate with the most?
