NBC Sports Philadelphia delivers its highest November Sixers ratings since 2001

PHILADELPHIA – December 6, 2018 – NBC Sports Philadelphia continues to deliver Sixers viewership milestones, as the network posted its highest November ratings for the Sixers since 2001, and the most-streamed month ever for Sixers games. The network’s digital site, NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com, is also experiencing significant growth for live streams, page views and uniques.
 
For the month, the Sixers averaged a 3.4 HH rating. Season to date, the Sixers game broadcasts on NBCSP are averaging a 3.2 HH rating, up 14% year-over-year, and up 28% over last season’s average.

NBC Sports Philadelphia registered a 6.2 HH overnight rating on November 14, when Jimmy Butler made his Sixers’ debut against the Orlando Magic. 
 
Sixers Postgame Live is also on pace for the highest Sixers’ postgame season rating since the 2011-12 season, averaging a 1.1 HH rating.
 
Across the 16 Philadelphia 76ers games in November, the live streams averaged 21,500 uniques and 1.4 million minutes per game, up 68% and 82%, respectively.
 
November is also the most-streamed month ever for the Philadelphia 76ers, amassing 21.9 million minutes consumed, beating the previous high in April 2018 by 34%.
 
Seven of the top 10 most-streamed 76ers regular season games on NBC Sports Philadelphia took place in the month of November, with six of those games occurring after Jimmy Butler’s debut on November 14th.
 
Butler’s Sixers debut against the Orlando Magic (November 14th) is the most-streamed game ever for the 76ers on NBC Sports Philadelphia, beating out Game 5 and Game 3 of the first round of the playoffs last season.
 
NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com’s coverage of the Sixers has seen 76% growth in page views and 97% growth in unique visitors from November 2017.
 
Last night’s Sixers - Toronto Raptors telecast on NBC Sports Philadelphia out-delivered ESPN’s telecast by 60%. NBC Sports Philadelphia posted a 4.1 HH rating, and 1.2 million minutes streamed across 18,000 unique devices. ESPN drew a 2.5 HH rating.
 
On Friday, the Sixers tip off against the Detroit Pistons on NBC Sports Philadelphia. Live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with Sixers Pregame Live.
