NLL becomes the latest league to suspend its season

Like the NBA and MLS, the National Lacrosse League has suspended its season as the coronavirus spreads in the United States. 

The NLL did not put a timeframe on when it expects the season to continue.

The Philadelphia Wings’ next game was scheduled for March 15 at the Wells Fargo Center. The Wells Fargo Center is closed for cleaning on Thursday after an NBA player tested positive for coronavirus.

The Wings (8-6) last played a home game on March 7 at the Wells Fargo Center.
