One week to launch: Beasley Media Group's Mike Missanelli Show simulcast debuts on NBC Sports Philadelphia April 16

PHILADELPHIA- (April 9, 2018) –NBC Sports Philadelphia and Beasley Media Group will launch the highly anticipated simulcast of “The Mike Missanelli Show” on Monday, April 16. This will mark the first time the popular radio show will be available to TV audiences.

“The Mike Missanelli Show” will air weekdays from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com and on the NBC Sports app. Through this alliance, NBC Sports Philadelphia will also feature show content across its TV, online, mobile and social media platforms.  “Philly Sports Talk” will air at its regularly scheduled time at 5 p.m., followed by Quick Slants at 6 p.m.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining forces with NBC Sports Philadelphia,” said Missanelli. “97.5 led the way in town to bring sports talk radio to the FM airwaves and now we are so looking forward to bringing it to television. In December of 2017, NBC Sports Philadelphia and Beasley Media Group announced a relationship which brings The Fanatic’s popular afternoon show hosted by Mike Missanelli to NBC Sports Philadelphia’s air.  The announcement was made by NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Brian Monihan and Beasley Media Group Philadelphia’s Vice President and Market Manager Joe Bell.

Mike Missanelli is a well-known media personality and host of  the  #1 evening drive show--“The Mike Missanelli Show”—on Philadelphia’s 97.5 The Fanatic.  Missanelli has served for the past 20 years as a sports talk host in Philadelphia and New York.  He graduated from Penn State University, where he played varsity baseball and received a degree in journalism.  The media veteran spent 15 years as a newspaper reporter (10 with The Philadelphia Inquirer), before branching off into positions in radio and television. He is a graduate of Widener University Law School and is a member of the Pennsylvania bar.
