Starting today, you can bet on sports in Delaware.
Vegas-style betting opens Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway with live odds boards and plenty of big-screens to watch the games.
Individual games will be offered at 11-to-10 odds, meaning a $110 bet would win you $100.
Bets can be placed on baseball, football (starting in August), hockey, basketball, soccer, golf and auto racing. You can bet on single games or championship futures.
You won't, however, be able to bet on college basketball or college football, at least not right now.
It does not appear that fun prop bets will be on the docket, such as "Where will LeBron James sign in free agency?" For those, you'll still need to utilize websites such as Bovada.
Regarding championship futures, Westgate released its opening odds for the 2019 NBA title over the weekend and the Sixers (7/2) were tied with the Rockets for the second-shortest odds, behind only the Warriors (5/4).
