A nor'easter couldn't dampen the day for Drexel.

The Dragons won the overall points title at the Dad Vail Regatta for the fifth year in a row while Saint Joseph's had its most medals (five) since 2010.

All races were canceled after 10:35 a.m. because of inclement weather. But not before Drexel collected seven overall medals.

The Dragons took home gold in men's varsity eight, women's varsity eight, women's second varsity eight, women's third varsity eight and men's freshmen eight. They also took silver in the men's third varsity eight and bronze in the women's varsity four. St. Joe's men's had two gold and one silver medal, winning the second and third varsity eight while finishing second behind Drexel in the varsity eight.

Drexel won the women's points title for the first time in program history. The Dragons' women's varsity eight won gold, also a program first.

Delaware took home the men's overall point title. St. Joe's finished second, its best performance since 1970 when its varsity eight took home the gold. The Hawks had never won the third varsity eight before and hadn't clinched gold in the second varsity eight since 2005.
