TORONTO — Jerryd Bayless missed his second consecutive game with left wrist soreness on Monday night in Toronto.

Bayless, who aggravated the injury on Friday night against the Bulls, also missed Sunday’s 112-108 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The veteran point guard didn’t even make the trip to Toronto as coach Brett Brown said he would on Sunday.

“I feel like that is so fluid,” Brown said on Monday prior to tipoff at Air Canada Centre. “It's not point right now in any direction. Personally, I'm a little bit worried. I don't know if we're going to see him on Wednesday. I think we'll know more when we get back. It all happened quite quickly: him not playing [on Sunday] night, our decision to keep him behind [in Philly] to get treatment. Right now, I'm not sure [about Wednesday].”

The wrist injury, which he suffered during training camp, has limited the 28-year-old to just three games this season in which Bayless is averaging 11 points, 4.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds.

The Sixers return home to open a four-game homestand beginning with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
