Recchi made two stops with the Flyers in his career. In 1992, he was dealt to the Flyers in a deal with the Penguins for a package including Rick Tocchet. He was then dealt to the Canadiens in 1995 in a trade that involved John LeClair. The Flyers then re-acquired him in 1999. Gagne will always be remembered as one of the most clutch players in Flyers history. As a rookie, he helped the Flyers to the 1987 Stanley Cup Final, where they fell to the Oilers in seven games. Despite the defeat, Hextall still earned the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP. Lindros was part of the Legion of Doom along with John LeClair and Mikael Renberg, one of the most dominant lines in modern NHL history, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016.
