Basic Function
Achieve a thorough knowledge of how video is implemented and edited on the web by assisting CSNPhilly.com's video unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Edit player sound from pre and post game feeds
• Edit sports highlights
• Assisting in remote shoots
• Creating reels from video shoots
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must.
• Learn how to integrate a tricaster into web production
• Understand our Social Media policy and how we implement it in shows
• Learn and understand general terminology in the field
• Additional duties as assigned
Desired qualities
• Good communication skills.
• Must have an excellent knowledge of sports
Requirements
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be a student in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor, Master or Juris Doctor degree
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US
• Must have sophomore standing or above
• GPA 3.0 of higher

Achieve a thorough knowledge of the digital sports media function through writing, editing and posting articles and videos.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Post stories (textual, video, photos, and audio) onto all digital properties
• Gain reporting/editorial experience by writing stories and covering events (based on experience level)
• Develop story ideas, search web/social media for latest news and potential stories
• Gain better understanding of basic Photoshop by manipulating/posting photos and compiling galleries
• Ability to learn website management programs
• Participate in social media outreach via Facebook, Twitter and other outlets.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must.
• Additional duties as assigned
Desired qualities
• Good communication skills
• Experience in print journalism
• Must have an excellent knowledge of sports (particularly Philadelphia sports)
• Strong writing and copyediting skills

Basic Function
To experience all aspects of Sports Media in a TV newsroom, including production, operations, and engineering. Opportunities will include working on pre and post-game shows as well as field work, writing and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Experience and learn production and operations from reporters, anchors and the production team by assisting the team in day to day tasks
• Use research, creativity and archive footage to assist with sports programming
• Exposure to field work including interviewing skills, lighting and operations.
• Gain understanding of operating the teleprompter as well as other areas of the control room, production and director operations
• Participation and assisting with stage managing including mic’ing and camera operations
• Provide support for guest relations
• Logging games and instruction on highlight and sound bite identification
• Additional duties as assigned
