Bryce Harper returns to Phillies' lineup

Bryce Harper is back in the Phillies' lineup for Thursday's 4:05 p.m. series finale in Texas.

Harper had been out of the starting lineup for four straight games and didn't play at all in three as he dealt with a blister on his left hand that became infected.

Harper is back in his customary three-spot as the designated hitter.

Injury-wise, it's been another trying season for Harper, who has dealt with a small tear in his ulnar collateral ligament since early-April that has kept him from playing the field.

You wouldn't know it with his staggering offensive production. Harper has hit .326/.391/.622 with 21 doubles, 15 homers and 48 RBI despite missing 10 games. He's hit .404 in June and reached base in 31 of 63 plate appearances.

Here is the Phillies' lineup against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray:

1. Kyle Schwarber, LF

2. Rhys Hoskins, 1B

3. Bryce Harper, DH

4. Nick Castellanos, RF

5. J.T. Realmuto, C

6. Didi Gregorius, SS

7. Odubel Herrera, CF

8. Alec Bohm, 3B

9. Bryson Stott, 2B

Zack Wheeler, SP
