Bryce Harper's home run had Philadelphia buzzing with excitement

Share

You knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of when. Bryce Harper grabbed his first hit as a Phillie and it was a towering home run that still hasn’t yet landed.

Everyone lost their minds.

The view on TV was cool, but here’s how it looked from inside Citizens Bank Park.

The homer came off former Phillies draft pick and local kid Jesse Biddle, and it wasn’t a cheapie.

A couple of the neighbors even took notice.

…and he was pumped up as he took his curtain call.

The Phillies had scored 16 runs in less than two games before this home run and things are going to be even better for this offense once Bryce really gets going.

As for the home run, it was worth the wait.
