Charlie Manuel answering questions, diagnosing swings from fans, missing baseball

Twitter is a better place with Charlie Manuel and Larry Bowa, two baseball lifers who are trying right now to find ways to pass the time like the rest of us.

MLB Network last Wednesday aired the famous 23-22 Phillies win over the Cubs from 1979 and Bowa, 5-for-8 in the game, chimed in that he was indeed watching along.

Bowa, 74, was in his typical hands-on role at spring training, hitting groundballs, working with infielders and baserunners. Manuel was not, recovering from multiple surgeries and documenting some of it along the way

Charlie has been answering dozens of questions of fans over the last few days. Some of the highlights:

• Utley or Robby Alomar in their prime?

• How's my son's swing look?

• PEDs vs. electronic sign-stealing

• Best swing in the majors?

• Who made the best in-game adjustments?

Go to Charlie's timeline for the rest, @CMBaseball41. Well worth the time. The heck else are you doing?
