There’s something about members of the 2008 Phillies and incredible homes. Recently, Ryan Howard had a record-breaking home sale in Florida. This time, his infield-mate Jimmy Rollins is breaking records.
Rollins has listed his home in Encino, California, for a record-breaking $12 million dollars, just a year after he set the San Fernando Valley record, buying the same home for $10.65 million.
This house is incredible.
Rollins, born in Oakland, actually bought a house last month for $8.7 million in Encino (see photos), so he’s just downsizing, and perhaps, pocketing a few million dollars in the process.
While his new home is tremendous in its own right, Rollins’ old home is just sensational and rivals that of Howard, but without a lazy river. His former mansion boasted eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a two-story detached pool house, basketball court, putting greens and an incredible wine cellar. Overall, it’s about 26,000 square feet of California indoor/outdoor living.
