Mets fans are not handling the Joe Girardi news well

It’s no secret now — the Phillies are to name Joe Girardi as the team’s new manager.

Philadelphia is celebrating left and right and it’s apparent their offseason is off to the right start.

Just a little north though, in the city that never sleeps — Mets fans are about to have a lot of restless nights … and we are here for it.

Having Girardi in Philadelphia is exciting in itself but knowing the Mets wanted him too? Well, that’s icing on the cake.

I feel sorry for Mets fans … really, I do (not).

A couple of hours later, and I'm still amazed at how aggravated I am about the Mets passing on Girardi. I knew it was coming, and yet still pissed. Just such a disgrace of an organization. Never going for top-tier, in either players or managers.
