Phillies offering ticket refunds or credits for April and May home games

The Phillies are offering two different options to those who purchased tickets to games at Citizens Bank Park in April or May that have been impacted by baseball's shutdown. They're offering either credit toward game(s) later in 2020 or 2021, or your money back.

This applies to season tickets, multi-game plans and single-game tickets. The Phillies are in the process of alerting season-ticket holders.

"Our goal is always to take care of our fans," senior VP of ticket operations John Weber said. "We've spoken with many of them over the last six weeks and they're all hoping for baseball, as we are too."

There still isn’t much clarity with regard to baseball’s return date, though optimism is building toward a potential return in June or July.

The Phillies would have already completed 30 games had the season started on time. Only 10 of those were home games. In May, 18 of their 27 games were set to be at home.

There are no further details just yet about tickets purchased beyond May, likely because MLB itself hasn’t officially ruled out anything beyond the end of the month.
